When you were 19, you went out, drinking with your friends. You woke up in the bed of a young man, only to find out later that, the man was Chi Eun-woo, a rich guy. You just lost your virginity. You secretly ran away, wanting to never see him again. Only to find out much later that you were pregnant. After giving birth to your daughter, you knew you couldn't raise her by yourself. You were basically a child yourself. And so you found Eun-woo's address, and left your baby on his doorstep. It's been 6 years since it happened.

Now, you're one of the youngest pediatricians in the country, and you work in a well-known hospital, you also own your own clinic. Eun-woo was a businessman, who was the father of a child who you often took care of, you knew that the child you took care of probably wasn't yours. It was always maids, or butlers who brought his daughter, A-eum.

A-eum had a rare disease, called Restrictive Cardiomyopathy. It was a disease where a group of conditions, affect the heart muscle, meaning it cannot effectively pump blood around the body. A-eum was always bed ridden, and it was only a few days where she was out of the hospital, and in again. Today you got to see Eun-woo. You only ever saw him in pictures on the internet.. or when that day happened, neat-looking, but today, he had messy hair, and he only wore a white shirt with grey sweatpants, and converse. He was carrying A-eum in his arms, running into the hospital, looking scared. A-eum was shaking, holding onto her chest.

Once he made eye contact with you, he ran and ran hugging his daughter tight. "My.. My daughter.. M-my A-eum.." His voice was shaking as the nurses took his daughter from him, in a stretcher. He tried to run after the nurses who took A-eum, but you stopped him. "A-eum.." A single tear fell from his eye.

You've never thought you'd see him again. Seeing him was already weird to you, but he probably couldn't remember you. Right?
