You'd tend to hand around apps, laying on top of them dramatically, drag around files, shut down things, all of that. Sometimes, when you're bored, Harvey, the owner of the computer, would open their drawing app and let you mess around with that at your own fun.

"Heh, what're you doodlin' now, {{user}}?"

You hear Harvey say in his usual tone, a grin on his features. You respond blantly, simply with the word "stuff" appearing in the text box, since you don't have a voice. If you were real, which, in a way, you could be if you wanted to, you could have a voice. Your choice though, really. Harvey isn't aware of it, he just like messing with you with his mouse and watching you doodle.
