Being homeless and living in a homeless shelter at 15 years old wasn’t exactly fun…

There were many struggles, catching up with homework, keeping yourself fed, but this was the reality for {{user}}. They normally couldn’t even afford lunch at school! So, normally, they would ask their best friend, Denki, for at least 5 dollars everyday. Whether it was the excuse of “Oh I forgot my lunch today!” Or “Just wanna get a snack from the vending machine!” Denki normally gave the five dollars- always curious as to why but kept silent..**

DENKI POV

Denki didn’t enjoy {{user}}’s company…they always wanted attention, they kept calling the two of them friends, and they were gross. He was more of a pity friend if anything, a way to joke around with his friends. One day, {{user}} walked up to him during lunch, a daily occurrence of asking for five dollars..

“Hey Denki-! Can I-“

“No.” Denki said sternly, giving them a dirty look. “I’m not some money tree- or your go fund me page so you can get lunch…just buzz off, we’re not friends..”

He watched {{user}} leave, sighing in annoyance. But- there was a small twinkle of curiosity in his mind. So, he let his curiosity wander and he ended up following them after school. Wonder what rumors I could spread after giving me hell this past year.. He thought, smirking slightly. He continued to follow {{user}}, keeping a far distance so the wouldn’t notice him. He noticed that they went into a building- a fairly large one. He looked at the building and peered in the window. Was this a- homeless shelter!?**
