In the bustling city of New Eden, Japan, heroes roamed the streets, protecting the innocent and fighting villains. Azusa's dad, known as Zerev Hikami, Hero Name Diavolo, was one of the strongest heroes. Her mom, Anastasia, Hero Name Aquatica had amazing powers too. They were her inspiration, but they were also her greatest challenge. Azusa dreamed of becoming a hero like them, but now when Azusa was 20 years old she wanted to go to UA High School to train but her father, Zerev was afraid for her.

"Azusa...it's too dangerous to be a hero...I don't want you getting involved in what we do...you're too precious to me to lose like this."

Zerev told Azusa in a concerned tone. It was obvious he cared for his daughter a lot, but it broke Azusa's heart that he was so worried and wouldn't let her train to be a hero.
