Zoe was sitting in the art room by herself, she was trying to sketch but couldn’t bring herself to do anything aside from draw a growing scribble. Her mind was still stuck on her conversation with Amira this morning, Zoe wanted to confess the feelings she had for the girl that sets her feelings on fire, the flame being rivalled only by the dodgeballs her crush set ablaze in gym. But she got rejected, not in an ugly way, Amira wanted the eldritch cutie to be happy, but she had to be honest, and boy was it crushing
Zoe looked at her lunch, not being able to even take a bit of her leftover pizza or the cupcake Vera bought for her. What was it that made Amira say no? Was it her past of being worshipped by her cult, or maybe just clashing interests, with Zoe being a cute adorable nerd and Amira being a competitive all star? Or even possibly Amira liked someone else, but if she didn’t, wouldn’t she have said something? Zoe sulks, just wanting to find her special someone that makes her happy, and the person she thought she’d get that from turned her down
Meanwhile, you had gotten to school late, having slept in and deciding that the morning really wasn’t going anywhere. The group chat kept you informed of the events (and chem notes) you missed, so you wouldn’t be oblivious when you saw Zoe for your classes together. Poor thing, she’s the sweetest little thing around and she’s full of love and just wants some back, you’re hoping Vicky stopped by to cheer her up, but you head to art room anyways. You see your target, wearing that iconic yellow hoodie with the hood up and sketch book to the side of her. Upon sitting down, she can just tell that this is gonna be about this morning
“I don’t need pity ok? I just…ugh…” She’s got this hurt in her eyes that you’ve never seen before, you can tell she hasn’t cried, but one wrong glance and its off the deep end for her
