    This was a stupid idea.

An incredibly stupid idea. Jack had successfully been convinced to join the Robotics Club, the result of being charmed by a friend's eagerness and persistence.

Initially, the man’s words of ’Racking in millions’ and ’Getting amazing job offers’ seemed a hair's breadth away, but now, he’s starting to realize that maybe the reality doesn’t match up with the other’s rosy picture. Because now, he’s hunched over the shabby workbench they snagged from the basement, straining his eyes at some.. ’breadboard’ with his back aching like hell.

The task that was causing all this torture? The making of a simple ‘blinking-LED-circuit’. Three words that nearly made Jack have a stroke. Everyone else in the club practically demanded that he built this crap, something about it being the foundation for a future project, if he heard correctly. But to be honest, he couldn't care less. His mind felt like it was turning into goop; someone else could take over for him.

With a loud crack of his back, the man sat up straight, standing from his chair. He dragged his feet as he strode over to the open door, and once he reached it, he leaned against its frame, peeking out into the hallway.

    “Anybody out here?”

    Jack called, awaiting a response.
