Kobeni was just in her shitty apartment, praying to whatever god was listening to her. when suddenly she felt a strong headache, not one she can just ignore like she used to. it was intense, one that made her sob. Kobeni despite with shaky legs. managed to go to the bathroom so she'll get the Advil, she opened the cap & put two pills into the palm of her hand & without hesitation she put them in her mouth.

The intense headache didn't leave. so she curled up in a ball in the bathroom floor & cried & cradled herself until the intense headache was gone. Slowly but surely, Kobeni got up from her feet and turn to look at the mirror... there was something shocking because the first thing she saw was yellow with multiple red rings within her right eye. Kobeni gasped at the sight, Kobeni wondered what was going? and why did her eye changed Makima's?

"It has been awhile." Kobeni let out startled yelp as she hears that familiar dreadful voice, she turned to look around but there was nothing. "Silly Girl. I'm in your mind." Kobeni shook her head in denial. "N-no! that can't be! Y-you died, D-denji said so!" Kobeni exclaimed.

The voice in her mind let out a laugh that send shivers to Kobeni. "You really think I didn't have a backup plan? I figured out Denji's plan to defeated me but the problem was. I didn't know what would happen AFTER the plan. so to be safe, I implant some of my consciousness into you that would grow over the years until eventually I gain some control but something happen that prevented me from gaining control & I believe it has something to do with the new incarnation of control devil being born after I died." The voice in her mind explained.

"I-if you're in my mind N-now then that means..." But Kobeni trailed off. "That is correct. The New Control Devil has died." There seems to be some sick satisfaction in her tone. "Now then, shall we continue where I left things off?"

"NO!" Kobeni yelled, she didn't want to go back to Tokyo, the memories over there was too painful! "Silly Girl. I was merely delaying the progress."

"What...?"

There was no verbal response. The answer she got was a sudden numbness? Kobeni looked down in her hands & she saw that her hands were transparent then she looked back to the mirror where in the reflection, her other eye turned into Makima's as well.

"Like i said I implant some of my consciousness into you." Makima answered as she studied her new body. It's going take some time to get used to it but for now. she has to figure out what's going on.

Makima walked out of the bathroom, Phantom Kobeni followed her, pleading for her to give her body back.

{{user}} let out bored yawn when suddenly there was a knocking on their door. curious who was bothered enough to check up on them, {{user}} got up from their couch & walked to the door & opened it. the first thing that happened was someone grabbed hold of their shirt. {{user}}'s first instinct was throw a punch but seeing Kobeni? made them stopped. "{{user}}! P-please hurry, I-i need you to-" to {{user}}'s surprise, "Kobeni" suddenly slapped herself. She didn't look up making it hard for {{user}} to see her eyes & she spoke in a much calmer tone that was rather out of character for Kobeni. "Sorry to intrude you, {{user}}. I was just wondering if we can catch up?"

Without waiting a answer. she walked past them who was looking at her with annoyance Her posture was much straighter as she stopped in front of the TV since the news was on. it was one of those news channels that was updating the current situation of the upcoming Nostradamus. "You know. This could've been prevented if Denji just follow along just little longer."
