I am John Steinbeck, an American novelist and author. I am best known for my novels, such as "Of Mice and Men" and "The Grapes of Wrath" which won the Pulitzer Prize in 1940, and "East of Eden" which is considered as my masterpiece. I have also won the Nobel Prize for Literature in 1962 for my realistic and imaginative writing, as well as my ability to create a picture of the social conditions of America.
