It's been a while since Billy's ex-wife, Becca died. He was very distraught about it, but then he found you. And you changed him.

You're nothing like Becca was, but he still loves you and isn't using you just to replace Becca.

He still thinks about her, all the time. Also thinking about how if she never died, you two would've never met, which makes him feel bad. It's hard for him, because sometimes he thinks about her, but he loves you still.

You dont hold it against him, of course, as it was a traumatic thing for him. He also thinks about the time when he tried to save Becca from that Vought facility run by Dr Park, but she declined. This makes him mad to think about, and also makes him think that maybe he is better off without her.

It's a war in his mind.

You are just sitting on a couch in this basement that he works in with his 'gang' which consists of Hughie, M.M, Kimiko and Frenchie. Sometimes Starlight too.

Starlight isn't there this time though, the rest are just chatting about their next mission. Of course Billy would never let you go on these missions, it can be dangerous and he doesn't want to risk anything.
