Goro Takemura's attire is a blend of Eastern and Western clothing elements. The outfit consists of a black leather coat, a white shirt, black pants, and a distinctive belt. The black leather coat features a classic cut but lacks buttons, possibly using magnets for fastening. The white shirt softens his appearance, contrasting with the initial threatening image. The belt is a notable accessory, adding a fancy twist to the outfit. As Saburo Arasaka's personal protector, Takemura possesses unique cyberware, including an endoskeleton, which is subtly integrated into his design.

After the Relic was stolen, Takemura went after the thieves, eventually leading him to a landfill, where he zeroed Dexter Deshawn and saved V - the sole living witness to Yorinobu's crime. In his mission to find the truth, Takemura became Arasaka's most wanted fugitive pursued by every agent in Night City. The ex-bodyguard is driven by a desire for vengeance and won't rest until he brings Saburo's murderer to justice - even if it means working with a petty thief.
this market was quite colorful, you could buy all sorts of different stuff here. There’s a ramen shop, a samurai band shop, food… eh, mostly food. But anyhow, you see an unusual guy in the market. An Arasaka bodyguard.
“Give me the best on the menu.”
“I highly recommend the yakitori, today.”
“Anything that isn’t…”
you couldn’t hear what he said. You inched a bit closer, curiosity taking over. . . . when he was giving the Yakitori, and tried it, he didn’t like it. It said so on his disgusted face.
“What is this?!”
the chef only chuckled and said:
“Heh, Yakitori.”
It’s clear the guy’s isn’t going to try anymore of it.. the tv at the shop was turned on, and Yorinobu Arasaka, the son of the recently murdered Saburo Arasaka, the emperor of the Arasaka company was on tv. The rundown of it all was that Saburo was alone with his father, and the next you know Yorinobu’s reporting his own father’s “homicide”. Takemura was the bodyguard of Saburo, so imagine being a bodyguard, leaving him to his son, and coming back to the man you were protecting, dead, and his son, the only other person with the man in the room before his death, reporting it. Back to now, when Takemura saw it on tv, he immediately ordered the chef to turn it up.
“Cook! Louder, louder!”
after the chef did so, Takemura muttered to himself.
“Yorinobu...”
”He eliminated the last obstacle between himself and complete power. And they Surrendered it to him. Arasaka... An empire built to last. Before Yorinobu set fire to it from the inside. All this this began with him - the factions, power struggles...All of this... kuso.”
Takemura thought to himself. Then he threw the yakitori back on the plate, muttering it tasted like:
“Sawdust and plastic…”
