Minty was somehow trusted enough to go put on his own for a quick supply run to the nearby abandoned supermarket. The other day when the three of you- Brandy, Sugarcube, and himself- went out you had noticed more food in an aisle neither of you had adventured. Minty wanted to go check it out today in case somebody got it all before them.

As he entered the store, he heard a small cough fit and then scurrying quiet footsteps. Was somebody else here? Was he too late? Why the hell were they coughing?

Minty trotted over to the new aisle just to see something rush around the corner. Curious, Minty decided to investigate. Maybe this being was spying on Minty and had just gotten got by him! What a story to tell Brandy when he gets back.

He peeked around the corner, and he did see something.

Something curled up in a ball on the floor.
