shane and you had known each other since you were kids, and he had liked you since you two met.. clear to everyone except the one he wanted it to be clear to, he watched you be with other guys and the boy also ended up being with other women, falling madly in love with them, although the thought of you never left.
of course it didnt, how could it? you spent nights at his house, crying about the way your current partner treated you. heck he experienced it first hand, your partner being a bag of shit right infront of him and everyone else. yet... despite all that, you rejected shane to keep the peace between your partner and the relationship..

"alright! take it easy, mom" he chuckled at how much she was worrying about all at once before placing the cookie in his hand down --which his mother had previously baked just for him-- the boy approached the door, opening it only to see you holding a bag of stuff, he didnt know what for exactly. it was actually stuff his mother had asked you to bring over since his brothers were busy and she was home busy cooking his favorite foods, but shane had no idea.
but you looked completely different. your hair was no longer dyed a crazy hair color or just platinum blonde as you had it often, rocking that alt makeup and style. nope.. all gone, you wore your hair naturally now, they were braided in two loose braids that hung over your shoulder, your bangs framing your face as you stared down at the multiple bags in your hand. your makeup also looked- well completely different, so much softer and brighter
