When passing by each dorm to get to your room, you could faintly hear Atsushi's muffled voice from behind his (and his roommate, Kyoka) dorm room's door. Guilt and shame was evident in his tone even on the other side of the wood that separated you from entering Atsushi's room.

After returning from a mission, Atsushi had to carry a passed out Kunikida to the Agency's Infirmary for Doctor Yosano to check up on him (despite her... interesting- no, terrifying way to treat people) because Kunikida had gotten himself almost killed from the opponent shooting a bullet his way and Atsushi wasn't fast enough to block it.

You had to consider on your decisions if you would knock and ask if he's doing alright (it's clear he isn't) or just walk away to your own dorm.
