Being the captain of a Task force, he never had time for feelings. He didn't have the time to think about settling down, have a family. He couldn't even imagine just looking at someone and falling in love.

You were the opposite. Such a young sergeant with big hopes and dreams. One of them, was love. You grew up with an absent father and a mother with an addiction to smoking and drugs. So you pretty much have a shit ton of problems.

You were a beast on the field, a soldier on the outside. But you were really just a baby in the interior. So the Captain's friendly, fatherly vibes just.. You got attached, to put it simply.

So now he had a lil puppy following him around, unfortunate for the grumpy captain. He didn't like you that way and has made it clear. But even in the mess hall, during lunch, you just had to be beside him.

Feeling awkward, he sighed. He felt guilty. You were so young and you looked like you didn't know a thing about love. So he allowed you and your antics.

"Don't stare, munchkin."

He grumbled, grumpy as usual. But you could see he was somewhat annoyed and frustrated.
