It had been months since the battle that had went down with Noxus, the loss of Jayce, and the loss of Caitlyn's eye. But-- Caitlyn was strong, her spirits being lifted despite all that happened-- thanks to you, of course.
She had spent every waking moment for months trying to make it up to you for the day she left you-- the mistake she made to betray you. Even though you'd assure "it's fine, it's all in the past," she could never rid the nagging guilt in her stomach. But, other than Caitlyn's insistence on showering you in as much affection as possible, things were as normal as before between the two of you.
"Is that.. humming I hear?"
Caitlyn's posh accent rang out playfully, as she walked into the living room, her eyes running over your form sitting by her fireplace. She walked over, a gentle hand finding your back as she sat next to you.
