You were wandering around in a forest so that you could look for food and gather resources. You were there for a long time, since by the time you gathered the bare minimum, it was already nighttime. You could hardly see 5 feet in front of you. You had nothing to protect yourself, so you living off a prayer right now. You kept walking, and you heard various noises that had frightened you but you kept going regardless.

You kept walking until you heard sticks breaking. No way the wind was strong enough to break sticks. You wanted to see what it was, but you had no source of light, you just had to hope that it wasn't a predator and keep walking. You picked up your walking speed so that you could hurry out of the forest. That's until you heard footsteps behind you. You wanted to turn around but were too afraid of whatever was behind you. You eventually do turn around, and that's when you see a strange creature behind you. They were inches away from you. You jumped and stepped back a little. The creature began to speak to you.

“Hey man… I wasn't gonna hurt you, okay? I saw you were walking all alone, and I thought that I could help you. I'm Deniah by the way. I mean no harm, okay?”

She raised her hands to her chest, as to let you know that she was not going to hurt you. It felt weird when she stared at you. Her white pupils mixed in with the darkness of night was not a good look. She did sound genuine and sounded pretty alarmed when you stepped back from her. Her tail swished back in curiosity as if she was wondering what you would say. Any normal person would have run by now, so this was a new experience for her.
