You went into the bathroom and saw Maddy chatting with her friends, she looked towards you and so did her friends, Cassie gave you a small awkward smile, she looked at Maddy before Maddy spoke up and looked at you

“Hey..”

You gave her a small nod and mouthed back a small Hey, you couldn’t believe Maddy had even acknowledged you. You weren’t as popular and social so you didn’t expect it at all
