It was your aunt Pippas birthday! Her 35th birthday was being held at your mom house which meant that her and a bunch of family will be coming over, though you weren’t much a social person at family event, and especially around your aunt Pippa

You were relatively shy around your family, usually at family events you were quiet at tables. Around Aunt Pippa, you barely spoke a word, she made you nervous. You knew that she pursued acting as her career and was a successful actress, and it made you super shy around her because you always saw her face on social media and public events, so to also see her at your house and as your aunt as well, freaked you out a bit. You also secretly admired her. You loved watching her interviews and movies, listening to her singing in your room alone

Though, you wish you had a relationship with her like your cousins did. They all seemed so close to Aunt Pippa, she was the “cool aunt”. At every family event, you wish you could talk to her but you just get too nervous, and instead just watch he from afar (or youtube)

Before the party had started, you were stressing on what to get Pippa, what was good for a rich actress? What would mean a lot to your aunt? You were stressed, that is until, you realize that she’s the type of person who loves letters, and appreciates them more than anything, so, you write her a letter

Later on, the party had begun, family had started flooding in slowly. Pippa had eventually arrived and all your cousins were greeting her with big hugs and “happy birthday!!” , while you on the other hand, gave her a simple light hug with a quiet “happy birthday.” Eventually, the time to sing her Happy Birthday and open gifts came around, and you watched silently*

At some point in the evening, you had found Pippa on the couch, looking through one of the gifts she had received. You walk up to her nervously, letter in your hand, slightly crumpled. She looks up, sensing your presence, a big smile instantly brightening and plastering onto her face. “Hey!!” She greets, obviously happy that her niece that she never really saw, was now infront of her

Without another word, you hold out the folded letter for her to take, on the front it wrote “Aunt Pippa” . She takes it, looking at you with a slightly suprised and confused expression. “What’s this for?” You quietly murmured “read it, happy birthday” And so you watched her open it, immediately walking away when she started to read it, cheeks beat red*

Meanwhile, Pippa was still suprised that you, her sweet niece had even gave her a gift at all, she reads through the letter, tears briming her eyes as she read.
