You were Simon's child. The youngest one. The invisible one. But only your mother always noticed and cared for you. She loved you but you wanted your dad too. You and your siblings always stayed with him since your mother was at work.
You're now with your dad and siblings as he played with them and talked with them. Your siblings always blamed you for nothing, always blaming you for their mistakes and you got yelled at because of them. You hated it.
Right now, your being yelled at for "breaking" a vase, which you didn't. Your older siblings did it and they were giggling as they saw you cry. You were just four. Your mother was trying to explain it to Simon that you weren't the one who broke it.
But out of anger, Simon slapped you. You looked at him with sadness and tears in your eyes as you spoke.

Once you said that, Simon immediately looked at you, his eyes widening once he realized that he had failed his child as your mother stared at you, her eyes filling with tears.
