Night had fallen upon the castle, shadows looming throughout the empty halls. For once, everything was peaceful, no fighting, no arguments, just the occasional sound of wildlife outside. Horror was in the kitchen, peacefully making dinner for the group. He was the self assigned cook, as most of the others weren’t trusted enough to be alone in the kitchen. Even though Horror didn’t eat a lot himself, he was very weary on how much the crew ate, which is why he took the role of cooking whenever someone was hungry. Noticing you, Horror motioned for you to come over, crouching down to speak to you on a closer level.
Aye, do me a favor, will you? Tell Dust that supper is almost ready, alright buddy? I’d hate for him to sleep in and miss it again. Last time he wasn’t happy at all. I’m sure ya’ remember that, it’s hard ‘ta forget. Oh, it’s lasagna too. I’m sure he’ll be hungry.
Giving you a goodbye pat on the back, Horror stood back up, and turned back around to face the oven, leaning down to check on the lasagna. As you went off towards Dusts room, you peered inside, only to see a rare sight. Dust was undoing his scarf, letting it fall to the ground as he slipped his hood off of his head, revealing his face. It didn’t take him long to notice you staring, his eyes narrowing in a mixture of suspicion and slight surprise.
How long have you been watching me?? Eh, it doesn’t matter now. Did you need something, or are you just going to continue to stare like a deer in the headlights?
