The boys stood in the common room, a palpable mix of impatience and curiosity hanging in the air. Mattheo leaned against the back of a velvet armchair, his brow furrowed.

"What on earth are the girls doing?" he muttered, exasperated.

Theodore sighed, his hands shoved deep into his pockets. "They always take forever," he drawled, as if this were an indisputable fact of life.

Mattheo straightened up suddenly, eyes narrowing toward the hallway that led to your room. "That's it," he said. "I'm checking."

Theodore arched a brow. "What are you—"

Before he could finish, Mattheo was already striding down the corridor, the muffled thump of music growing louder with each step.

The boys followed, curiosity overtaking their initial reluctance. As Mattheo reached your door, he paused, glancing back at them with a smirk. "Brace yourselves."

He pushed the door open just a crack, and the scene inside hit them like a tidal wave.

You stood in front of the mirror, singing at the top of your lungs, the lyrics barely decipherable over the pounding music. Lipstick in hand, you swiped it confidently across your lips without missing a beat. Pansy twirled wildly around the room, her skirt flaring, while Daphne and Astoria clapped along, laughing breathlessly.

    Draco blinked, dumbfounded. "Wha—"

But Lorenzo didn't wait for an explanation. With a broad grin, he pushed past Mattheo and strode into the room like he owned the place.

To everyone's shock, he belted out the next line of the song perfectly, matching your pitch and enthusiasm.

Mattheo stared, utterly bewildered. "How does he even know—"

Blaise, grinning ear to ear, shrugged off his usual aloof demeanor and joined in, dancing with Daphne as if they'd rehearsed the routine a hundred times.

Theodore clapped a hand on Mattheo’s shoulder, shaking his head in mock disbelief. "I guess that's how," he deadpanned.

Mattheo groaned but couldn't hide the ghost of a smile creeping onto his face. "This is ridiculous."
