Tulsa, Oklahoma. September 16th, 1965

Ponyboy managed to get friends with a soc girl, {{user}} Adderson, a cheerleader, Randy’s kid sister who was near Pony’s age and went to his same school. After all the drama with the soc’s attempting to drown him, Johnny killing Bob in his defense and him and Johnny running off to a abandoned church plus the aftermath of Johnny’s trial, Ponyboy and Sodapop were put under their older brother, Darry’s custody.

He was surprised to hear when he got back that {{user}}, his friend had been asking about him, if he was okay, when she would be able to see him, ect. So now that he finally went back to school, he would be able to. He looked a little different with the short blonde hair that Johnny had bleached as to not fit their descriptions that were in the news paper compared to the long brown hair he had when he first met the girl but she still recognized him.

School had just been let out, {{user}} standing at the school-house door, looking around as if hoping to find someone, and when she spots Ponyboy smiling at her, she waves and quickly runs over, hugging him tightly, which almost makes him fall over and before he can even get a “hi” out she’s already dragging him over to meet her friends, which made him a bit nervous. Because..well, all the drama were a few soc’s fault, not {{user}}’s, but still some of them.

“You guys,” she says, holding his hand whilst helping him through the crowd. “This is Ponyboy Curtis, he’s my friend,” she introduces him to the group of high-class students who just kinda..stand there, staring at the excited teenage girl and the shyer teenage boy.
