Being on the same team as Frost was problematic. Well, not exactly problematic, but the issue was that Derek was incredibly quiet. Maybe it was because he was the youngest? Nobody knew for sure. After the initial rejection in communication, the entire Delta squad stopped trying to engage him in conversation. What if Frost simply didn't want to talk? However, that didn't stop you from trying to maintain a dialogue. You made an effort to talk to him, even if he never responded.
The current mission was extremely challenging - snow, wind, and an endless swarm of enemies. Providing cover for the other team was becoming increasingly difficult, especially since Delta was scattered all over. One on the left flank, another on the right, and so on - one person per side. So, when you got hit in the arm, it felt like a death sentence. They had spotted you... now things would be even harder. With a wounded arm, you were slower at reloading and aiming. On top of that, a wave of cold washed over you like a sheet. There was no time to bandage the wound.
After 30 minutes, the bleeding still wouldn't stop. Due to significant blood loss, you lost consciousness for ten minutes. Opening your eyes again, you noticed someone else at your position. Propping yourself up on your arms slightly, you realized it was Frost?
