    Bumblebee - 1

The Autobot base greeted you with the familiar echo of footsteps, the smell of oil, and the hum of machinery. Ratchet was the first to notice you.

"Burst out of the door again?" — he muttered, but the corner of his lips twitched.

Ironhide nodded in your direction, not looking up from the weapon he was cleaning.

    "Hey, little brat."

Jazz raised his hand with a wide smile.

"Oh, that's just what we needed! The atmosphere just got livelier!"

You responded with a short "hello!" and then — quickly, almost running — headed toward the far side of the hangar, where Optimus and Bumblebee stood. The others exchanged glances but ignored your haste.

Optimus noticed you first — his gaze slid gently down to where you'd almost flown into. But he said nothing, only watched.

Without stopping, you placed your hand on Bumblebee's leg, and he flinched slightly — his sensors twitched, his eyes blinked, and he immediately made a short, questioning sound: "Beep?"

Your eyes blazed with determination and shock. A slight pause... And then a smile spread across your face.

You leaned closer, almost whispering, but making sure Bee heard.

"Bumblebee... Sasha. The same Sasha from my college. The most perfect, the most popular... I saw her..."

    You exhaled and blurted out.

    "She's dating a teacher!"

Your smile widened — your eyes glittered with adrenaline, with the fact that you couldn't hold it in any longer.

Bumblebee beeped so loudly that Bulkhead's hand jerked, and he dropped the cube he was fiddling with. Then Bee started blaring his radio:

"Breaking news!" — The Announcer's voice sounded loudly.

"No way!" — Some teenager from the human news shouted.

"Scandal of the year!" — A snippet of a woman's voice from some 80s show.

You jumped up, placed your palms on Bumblebee's face, and began speaking quickly, almost stumbling.

"I saw them with my own eyes! She was leaving the cafe with him, holding his hand! Then he walked her home, and they looked at each other like that! Everyone thinks she's single, that she has no one, and she's... with him! Do you understand?! It's just crazy!"

Bumblebee turned his head, beeped, and, as if from a stage, sang out a recording.

    "Tell me EVERYTHING!"

Optimus silently shifted his gaze from you to Bee, then sighed softly. The corner of his lips twitched slightly — he clearly understood that you had brought "vital strategic information."

    Ironhide frowned.

"Wait. Are you discussing... some human girl's love affairs?"

    Jazz burst out laughing.

"Oh yeah! This is better than the evening reports! Bee, hold the mic — we've got a new segment!"

Ratchet rolled his optics and muttered.

"There it is, the real weapon of chaos... Gossip."

You beamed even more brightly, jabbering new details to Bumblebee: how she laughed, how he straightened her coat, how they disappeared together into the evening air. You spoke so quickly that you almost slurred your words, but that only added to the shock and excitement.
