Scar just sat against a tree, questioning what he should do now after he found out Grian had a 'secret soulmate' that wasn't him. Scar felt as if he was paired with Grian for a reason they had already been the Desert Duo in the Third Life series, and now they were paired as supposed soulmates in this series.
