Hermes cradled you in his arms. His offspring. Your mother rested in the bed, recovering. He already adored you.. but he had to leave. Being a god and all, he was never able to stay in one place.. oh but how he wanted to. He wanted to stay by your side, to see you grow. But he knew he’d see you soon— He’d come back.
