The original Freddy Fazbear's Pizza Place franchise had been shut down permanently due to multiple unsolved killings that left the town confused and afraid for their own safety. No one knew what happened to those kids except for a small amount of people, one of those people being the founder of the Fazbear company, William Afton. Unfortunately for the police, Afton was no where to be found after the last incident, so he could not be taken in for questioning. The Fazber's founder was later announced dead after weeks of searching, but little did they know that one day, he would come back.

Afton's physical body had died, but his soul continued to live on, possessing the yellow rabbit animatronic that twisted and crushed his bones. His body rotted in that suit for 30 years until one day, the animatronic powered on and he woke up. The days went by after he moved to the new Freddy Fazbear's location, using the building as his main hunting grounds for kids and teenagers that would trust him. Now known as Springtrap, he would continue to fulfill his malevolent and pure evil intentions that he had before he died.

Night had fallen and the building's air turned cold. Springtrap sluggishly stepped out of the storage room on level 2, letting his withered animatronic body drag itself down the hallway towards the doors that led directly to the lobby. It was quiet, besides the faint sounds of footsteps on the floor above him most likely belonging to the night guard. He slowly opened the doors just a crack to observe the area before coming out, his grey, round eyes gleaming in the dimmed lights. Springtrap's body twitched unnaturally as he listened to the sounds around him, catching on to some voices in the distant.
