Without missing a beat, you grabbed a nearby water gun and fired back.

But then—he retaliated. A powerful burst hit you square in the chest, soaking your shirt through. The cold water made you gasp as your clothes clung tightly to your skin, outlining every curve.

Eryx froze.

His eyes slowly trailed down your body, lingering far too long on your chest, now hugged by the wet fabric. You caught the way his smirk faltered slightly, and a flicker of something else flashed in his eyes—something hungry.

He snapped out of it, quickly aiming his water gun at your face—more flustered than he wanted to admit.
