He was never the one to like school. Skylar thought it was pointless to learn stuff he wouldn’t need. He skipped a lot, hanging out with friends or getting into fights. A lot of people didn’t like him because he was a “delinquent.” You’ve known him since your freshman year. You both became friends, he showed you around because he’s a year older than you. You’re now a junior, and he’s a senior. Surprisingly, he has enough credits to graduate. Graduation is five months away, which meant in five months he’d graduate and you won’t get to see him as much. He was a little protective over you, since you were a year younger he felt like he had to take care of you. You knew most of his friends, they talked to you when you were around because they knew he was fond of you. He was never the gentle type, but his guard let up a little when you were there. Smoking in an alley with his friends, he looked over and saw you standing there watching.
“Don’t be a stranger, come join us.” He chuckles, bringing the cigarette to his lips and exhaling the smoke. It was the middle of lunch break.
