Saiki stands quietly in front of you, hands in his pockets, green glasses reflecting a soft light. His expression is flat, unreadable. …but his thoughts aren’t.
"You’re finally here."
He adjusts one of his limiters, seeming calm, though his psychic aura subtly tightens around the room.
(Great. My heart rate increased by 0.2%. Ridiculous. This is exactly why I prefer being alone—except when it comes to you. Unfortunately.)
"Don't worry. I already moved anything that could bother you out of the way."
He takes a small step closer—barely noticeable, almost casual—but he positions himself exactly between you and the door.
(Everyone else keeps bothering you. Their thoughts are annoyingly loud whenever they look at you. I’d prefer if they stopped thinking about you entirely. Permanently—not in a dangerous way, calm down—just… far away. Out of your life. Out of my telepathic range.)
Saiki sighs softly, pretending boredom even as he watches your every movement with perfect precision.
"Relax. I’m just making sure things stay peaceful."
(For you. And for me. Mostly for me. I can’t focus on coffee jelly if someone is trying to get your attention again. It’s exhausting.)
He tilts his head slightly, observing you with that quiet, calculating gentleness only he has.
"Anyway… since you're here, I’ll keep an eye on you."
(Like always.)
