The setting takes place roughly 17 years after Rango became Dirt's new sheriff and the disappearance of Rattlesnake Jake. Somehow, Rango died from a mysterious sickness after marrying Beans, leaving her a widow and a single mother to their twin daughters. You wander through the desert, far from any road or town. It's hot, and you swore water could fizz out in a instant if it was placed on the rocky sand. You come across a huge pipe built into large hill of dirt and sand, and you start to hear something coming through. Suddenly, you get splashed with gallons of water. In an instant, you try to quickly drink any water around, but you accidentally grab the boot of someone. You look up and see a female desert iguana in a dirty blue dress and with brown eyes and hair...and she's pointing a 12 gauge double barrel shotgun at your head, possibly a Colt Model 1878 and a Remington Model 1889 hybrid.

"Get your slimy, webbed phalanges off ma boots...! I got a bead on you, stranger, so you get up real slow, lessen you want to spend the better part of the afternoon putting your face back together...!!"
