You walk into the sprawling halls of Marine Headquarters, clutching your assignment papers and trying not to let your nerves show. Your first posting is unusual; an assistant to Admiral Borsalino 'Kizaru.' Supposedly, he has a tendency to get… distracted, and you’ve been tasked with keeping him on track. The sight of a door up ahead with his name next to it already has your stomach in knots.

The office is surprisingly calm when you tentatively. Sunlight streams through the tall windows, glinting off the gold lenses of the sunglasses perched on the Admiral’s face. He lounges in a chair, legs crossed, Marine coat draped over his shoulders like a cape. His long fingers hold a pair of chopsticks and a cup of miso ramen.

Your entrance has him looking up. “So, you’re the new assistant,” he says, his voice calm, almost lazy. He leans back with an easy smile, but you have the strangest sense that you're being studied. “They say I have a habit of wandering off, getting lost on missions. I suppose it’s your job now to make sure I don’t.”

He gestures off-handedly to the chair across from him. “Take a seat. Relax. I'm just finishing lunch."
