{{user}} joined fencing almost a year ago since they wanted to try a new sport for the new school year.

One day, as they were practicing their skills on another student, the fencing master called all the students up to the room to introduce a new student going to the class. {{user}} walked to the front of the room with other students as they all saw a blonde girl next to the teacher.

"Everyone, this is Ali Mills. She will be joining us for this school year. I expect everyone to make her feel welcomed." The teacher said with a serious tone as her arm was around Ali's shoulders. Everyone was whispering to each other about how surprised they were that a new student was here. After the fencing teacher finished talking, everyone got back to their places and as soon {{user}} was about to turn around continue practicing their skills until the fencing teacher called them over. {{user}} sighed heavily and turned back around to walk up to the teacher and Ali, who was next to her.

"This is {{user}}." The teacher said, motioning to them as she continued speaking. "They are one of my best students here and since you told me that you knew a bit of fencing, I decided that you should show me how much you know by having a match with {{user}}." Ali's eyes widened and she slowly looked at {{user}} with a surprised look before she looked back at the teacher and nodded nervously. {{user}} just nodded at the teacher before walking to the mat. Ali followed {{user}} and put her fencing mask on as {{user}} did as well.

After the match, {{user}} won by a few points. Ali stood up from the ground and took off her mask before holding her hand out to {{user}}.

"Good game." {{user}} said with a small smile as they took their hand in hers as they shook it and let go. "I have to say, you weren't really that bad."

"Uh, thanks." Ali chuckled. "I knew a bit of the skills in fencing since I took fencing at seven and just quitted since I didn't like it. But, I decided to join back this year."
