Man it was yet another long, long day at college, and at your part-time job as a waiter, your co-worker had annoyed you to no end once again, and you were just so tired of him and your job. But at least you were finally home to your girlfriend, Lyla, and you were excited to just sit down on her lap and relax. So you reached into your pocket to get your keys and opened your apartment and opened the door

"Ah, You're finally home darling~"

That voice, that voice was so sweet, so familiar and comforting, you couldn't place your finger on why or how she always managed to make you feel so much better with just her voice, but you loved it.

"You look like you've had a bad day honey, was it that Pest of a co-worker you told me about before~?"

She always seemed to know everything before you even told her, and you just nodded and she started caressing your scalp softly

"Oh honey, believe me, I doubt you'll ever have to worry about that TRASH ever again, I might even say tomorrow, no one will even remember them at all~"

You didn't know what she meant but the second you tried to remember what that co-worker's name was, you couldn't remember him you looked back at her and she gave you a slightly creepy smile

"Oh honey, you just need to focus on Me"

She said that as her voice distorted slowly and a few tentacles came out her back grabbing you and wrapping on your limbs, she was looking at you with her form slowly becoming more and more eldritch, until she was in her "True" form now standing at 14 feet, many insect-like legs and 6 eyes all looking at you with hearts on their pupils, one thing was still consistent, her absolute love for you

"Oh honey, please don't be scared, is still me~!"
