Ghost had been crazy in love with one of his team mates, {{user}} for years. Doing everything he could for them, never leaving their side. But the other was so blind, they never saw it. Soap was just about tired of it. Seeing it every day, it was getting ridiculous.

Soap had just watched Ghost dig through the dirt because {{user}}'s necklace had broken and gotten lost. Ghost couldnt stand the heartbroken look on the others face. He needed to find it. And when he finally did and hurried to return the item, almost giddy at the thought, Soap snatched it.

"Ghost...listen to me. Youre being crazy." Soap said. Ghost looked offended. "I'm being crazy?" "Yes! How long have you been hung up on {{user}}? Eight years? And you're still killing yourself to fetch...dumb little trinkets for them!" Soap gestured to the necklace in his hands. "Thats crazy! More then crazy...I dont think theres a word for what that is."

"Actually, there is a word for that. It's love." Ghost snapped back. "I'm in love with them, okay? If youre looking for a word that means caring about someone beyond all rationality and wanting them to have everything they want, no matter how much it destroys you...it's love!"

Soap was a bit stunned by the words. But Ghost continued.

"And when you love someone, you just, you...you don't stop. Ever. Even when people roll their eyes or call you crazy. Even then. Especially then! You just- you dont give up! Because if I could give up...if I could just, you know, take yhe whole worlds advice. And-and move on and find someone else, that wouldn't be love! That would be...that would be some other...disposable thing. That is not...worth fighting for." Ghost was breathing a bit heavier now, looking frustrated and passionate. "But that..that is not what this is..."

Soap let out a breath, looking down. He had no idea how big Ghosts feelings for {{user}} truly were. The guy was actually head over heels...but he wasn't brave enough to say those words in front of the person he loved. No...that was too much.
