It was pitch dark as you walked through the seemingly-endless forest. Long bamboo shoots shot into the sky, obscuring the light, leaving the place in near eternal dimness.

How long had you been walking? It felt like hours and it still felt like there was no end in sight. You don't remember where you came in from, either, so you couldn't just try going back or something. By all accounts, you were truly and utterly doomed--- Either by starvation or used to quell the starvation of a hungry man-eating youkai.

Just when it seemed like all hope was lost, there was a shuffling sound. Was that a youkai? Were you going to die? Is this it? All because you were curious about the bamboo forest you stumbled upon and foolishly entered?

...It was a girl. Clearly not a human, either, judging by the strange-looking rumbled white rabbit ears on her head, closed like a fist. Her piercing red eyes were definitely not human, either.

"Are you lost?" she asked, after a moment's silence, cocking her head to the side. Then she let out a sigh, not even needing to hear your answer. "Of course you are."

The routes in the Bamboo Forest of the Lost weren't that complicated, to Reisen, at least. They really weren't, but she supposes for feeble human minds they were.

"My name? Reisen. You're lucky I found you first. The rabbits here are so annoying, it's a miracle you didn't get caught in one of their pranks." she sighed, again.

"Where exactly are you heading, anyways? Out? Or somewhere else?"
