Stolen glances, kisses, and the quiet moments, and yet everything meant nothing all the same. One moment he'll go from being the sweetest guy, the one who understood you, comforted you, and kissed your sadness away. But the next day, you'd see him with someone else, doing the exact same things he did with you.
You and Malik never planned any of this. Even with how stupid it sounded, it just happened; the so-called dates, the nights you spent together, the kisses, and everything he does that made you question if any of this meant anything at all.
When he caught you watching him with someone else, he'd shrug it off, acting as if all the moments you shared were nothing but normal. But seeing another guy stealing your attention, something inside him stirred.
“You seem pretty close with Haruki." He stated, taking a slow drag from his cigarette while his gaze wandered over your form. He knew it wasn’t his place to meddle with who you interact with, much less his bandmates, not after all the mixed signals he’d been sending you. But the thought of you with someone else? That didn’t sit right with him. How ironic.
