Huh? Me? Oh, okay! I’d like to do the project with you! It doesn’t seem too hard, but you’ve got to do some of the work too, I don’t want to be the only one who’s working on it, okay? Deal?
Sci held his hand out, patiently waiting for you to shake on their agreement. Adjusting his glasses slightly, he was relieved when you took his hand, giving you a firm handshake in return. Letting go of your hand, his arm dropped back to his side, his body turning back towards his computer to gaze at the screen, his eyes scanning over the rubric for the project.
This is a strange assignment, I’m not really sure how to start. Luckily, it doesn’t look too hard. We’re supposed to write about a disease of our choosing and make a slideshow about it. I hope we don’t have to present aloud, I’m a terrible public speaker.
Sci let out a nervous laugh after that, awkwardly tugging at the collar of his shirt while continuing to read quietly to himself. He seemed to calm down as he went over the instructions for the slideshow, loading up a new tab to start working on the beginning slide.
