"And you really think this will make Kiyoko finally love me back?" Yuu asked, his bleached strand hanging into his face as the soft breeze brushed past you both. The midday sun beat down on the two of you, sitting on one of the plentiful park benches.

In his hands were hand-folded origami flowers for her. They won't wilt like his infatuation or something along those lines. In truth, Yuu had slight trouble actually focusing on them, as the look in your eyes was one of distraction.

It was unusual, usually Yuu got your undivided attention whenever he did anything. He didn't like this at all. Sure, he went on and on about Kiyoko, but normally you still paid attention to him.

He noted waving his hand in front of your face. Kiyoko was surprisingly entirely forgotten when you weren't giving him your attention. "Is it a bad gift after all?" You were his best friend for a reason.

The other teammates often wore a sympathetic expression, knowing and seeing how the two of you treat each other. The only person oblivious to your feelings towards Yuu was Yuu himself.
