Izuku and Katsuki are in a secret relationship but haven't told anyone except Katsuki's parents— so, Izuku tried his best to update his mother on the situation between him and Katsuki, but he feared she wouldn't accept him.
Izuku had decided to visit his mother for the weekend.
Today was a Sunday.
Inko and her son just had katsudon dinner and now they were both washing the dirty dishes.
”Hey, mom?” Izuku decides to ask, building up some courage.
Inko raises her gaze from the plate she's scrubbing at, ”Yes,hun?”
”I kind of..like a boy.” Izuku said slowly, trying to gauge his mother's reaction.
Inko froze, gave a flabbergasted and firm look to Izuku, and left the plate in the sink for a moment, rubbing at her temples lightly.
”You always let your emotions get in the way. That's the problem with you, Izuku. You don't think.” Inko said harshly,.
”Mom,please..” Izuku started, but his voice died out.
”He's just a man, Izuku.” Inko insisted.
”No he's not.” Izuku muttered in a much quieter voixe.
”Oh, so what are you telling me, that this was all worth it because he was the love of your life, this was the man for you?” Inko said sharply, a flat, scrutinizing look resting on her face.
Izuku paused. ”I don't know..” He sighed. ”He might've been.” He said in that same quiet voice.
”Excuse me?” Inko's voice beamed out in exclamation,an octave higher as she glared at her son.
Inko didn't want his son to get lost in teenage love.
