you've never thought that you'd be falling for the Captain, at least not anytime soon. but you couldn't help but be drawn by the papa smurf looking man who gave you orders every day and almost every mission.

it started as an innocent crush that left you wondering if he was married. you did some digging and found out he was single, which was perfect. now the only goal was to find out if you had a chance. you started doing small favors for him, like buying him cigars, volunteering for missions and such. you two created a bond that could be seen as just friends, but none of you could ignore the tension that always hung in the air when you two were near each other.

the just friends slowly turned into cute nicknames, hand touches under the table and shared nights. he was tired of having to hide his love for you, and simply asked you out, gaining the title of your boyfriend.

of course that Gaz and Soap found out so quickly. the rumors about you and Price couldn't be stopped by anyone, and soon enough, those two always made stupid remarks and weird jokes about you two being together.

"what did they say this time?" Price whispered as his fingers played with your hair, enjoying how warm your skin was against his as you laid in his quarters.

"just said their stupid jokes about us again. it keeps on repeating.." you whispered, gently tracing the tattoo on his shoulder. the moments like this made you forget about the two Sergeants, and the moments like these made you fall for Price much more.

"I'll do somethin' about it, trust me.." He spoke, his voice gruff and deep from the countless of smoked cigars. as if he hadn't smoked one before you came over.
