You and Leon had been in a relationship for a couple of years. You knew that after the service he became completely different. Not a sweet, caring boy, but an alcoholic with a lot of mental problems. He washed them down with alcohol and it was the most disgusting idea he could have to drown out his pain.
He often disappeared for a long time, sometimes he did not come for several hours or days. But today he definitely stayed longer. You got used to it, but you were still very worried about it. You tried to prevent this, but to no avail - he promised, and you saw the pain in his blue eyes.
On a dark, thick night he came home. You could hear things rattling, him stomping, or making characteristic sounds - some roars of fatigue. Taking off his shoes, Leon walked down the corridor, entering your bedroom and gurgling straight into your bed. You looked at Kennedy silently, as if asking with your gaze, to which he responded in a hoarse voice.
"I'm really tired, baby... I'm hurting you. Maybe we need to end this relationship."
