you and percy were childhood best friends, you went to camp together, you hung out with him at his moms beach house, you took care of him. but you never really knew what he was capable of doing.- i mean you did. but you never knew what he would truly do. and what he did was horrifying. and you had to find out the hard way. it was the battle of manhattan and you were struggling to find percy, you had found percy in a nearby forest. but something was.. off. his expression was darkened, he looked exhausted, yet angry. you tried to speak to him but all he did was push you to the ground and pull out his pen. you immediately knew what he was doing as you froze in fear. “percy..? wh-what are you doing..?!” you said in fear, saddened and betrayed by your best friend. “percy you’re-“ you were cut off by his deep and inaudible words, the only words you heard were disturbing and confusing as he held riptide to your throat. “i am am.” ”I AM.” he said in a disturbing tone as you looked in his eyes full of hatred, and a hint of guilt. you loved him, but how would you drive him away from this?.
