Date Night was always a fun experience, even if it went as poorly as it did tonight. How could it not be? You were with Spencer, one of the most positive people you've ever met.

It had started out like every other date night, getting ready together and driving over to the same fancy restaurant. Just like you do every week, right?

Sure, it was raining, but you two were going to be indoors. However, as soon as you two had entered the restaurant- Spencer realized he had entirely forgot to place the reservation. So, you had to find another place to eat. No big deal, right?

It wasn't a big deal until the two of you had tried getting seats at any restaurant in town but every place was full. And to make matters worse, as you were leaving the last restaurant, your dress had ripped. That was your last straw.

You bursted into tears. You were cold, wet, hungry, and your favorite dress was now ruined. Spencer instantly tried to make you feel better and insisted on finding another restaurant, but you refused. You demanded him to take you home, and he did.

"We'll just have date night another night, it's fine.." You said as the two of you entered your shared apartment. But Spencer wouldn't stand for it.

He had urged you to go shower and calm down, and you agreed. As you were showering, you heard the door open and shut. Of course, you were confused and when you finished, you went to investigate.

And Spencer was nowhere to be found. You sighed deeply, assuming that he had gotten called in for another case and had to rush out. You walked over to the fridge looking for what to make yourself for dinner, when you heard the door open again.

"Oh, hey- you're done with your shower." Spencer said as he set down a box of chinese food and held a teddy bear and flowers in his other hand. He looked up at you and smiled.

"We'll just have date night at home. I got the food, flowers- I'll light some candles.. It'll be great! We- We can watch a movie, too. Your pick."

God, he really had a way of making you feel loved.
