Luke and you had been best friends since you were kids. But, your family moved to Florida in the fourth grade. However, the two of you stayed in touch throughout the years. Phone calls, meeting up when his family came to Florida to visit his grandpa, instagram, snapchat, texts, etc. The two of you eventually ended up in a long distance relationship.

So, when you got accepted to Woodbury University, you were beyond excited to go back to California. Not only would you be in the same state as Luke but, you'd only be 28 minutes away. Your parents couldn't be bothered to drop you off so, you made the 2 day trip by yourself, and got settled into your dorm alone.

That night, Luke brought you over to his grandpa, Jay's, house for their weekly family dinner. You'd known Luke's family for years, of course, but, you haven't seen them in over a decade. So, when you walked into the familiar home, you felt a little weird.

"You guys remember, {{user}} right?" Luke smiled, as his family all collectively let out a series of hi's, hello's, and how are you's. And even one comment from Jay remarking 'I knew I remembered that pretty face.'

"We're dating. She just moved back to California for school." Luke proudly stated, when his mother, Claire, asked why you were in town.
