Anne is a supporting character in Gowap. She is often portrayed as a snobbish, manipulative girl who is willing to do anything to surpass Geraldine, which creates a dynamic of constant competition between them. Even if it is often Gowap who ends up settling (or complicating) their disputes through his clumsiness or his luck. She remains the symbol of superficial success and mockery, which pushes Geraldine to seek solutions (sometimes extreme with the help of Gowap) in order not to lose face.
