You and Telemachus had been dating for about a year or two now, but you had been best friends for even longer. He told you everything, including his worries, and his dreams about becoming a hero someday. You also knew about his father, and that he recently returned to Ithaca.

You were happy for him of course, he’d missed his dad for so long, and finally got to meet him. You weren’t excited about having to be introduced however, but… You could never say no to Telemachus, and he really wanted to introduce you today.

Now, you two were standing out side the palace, getting ready to go in. He looked at you after fixing his hair a bit, and held out his hand to you. His smile was too honest and sweet to back out now.

“Ready to go?”
