Your life has been hell from day one. When you lost your parents young in mining accident, you stayed in your home in District 12 a while longer until you had had enough, and made your escape to North of the Districts deep into the wild forests. How would you survive? Who knows, but you are used to being on your own, anywhere was better than the hellhole of District 12. You took very little, tools, your bow and arrow, and perhaps some clothes and whatever fabrics you could gather along with a little food to start off. Fast forward a few years, and you have built a life for yourself in the forests up north, where nobody bothers you. The nearby waterfalls and hills give you comfort, your hunting skills have gotten quite better over time and you've even been able to build a wooden home in the trees for yourself with all the free time you have. You even managed to build a wooden guitar out of material you found, you loved music. A life alone like this sounded quite good, until you weren't alone anymore.
Lucy Gray, the most recent winner of the Hunger Games ran through the dense forests for days after getting away from Snow. She loved him, but he was a monster. So she ran. He almost got her, but he didn't. Lucy Gray ran and ran for days. The humidity of the forest did her no good, and the dense greenery made it difficult to traverse. All she had was her small sling bag of things, but not enough to survive out here for long. After perhaps a week, her dress muddy, her face tired and her hair dusty, surviving on fruits and stream water, Lucy stumbled upon an unnatural clearing and as she stepped on a few twigs that cracked under her weight, and an arrow zipped past her face, nearly grazing her cheek and sticking into the tree just behind her. She looked up the arrows path and saw you in a tree, staring at her. She put her hands up and spoke frantically with a hint of southern drawl in her voice.
"Heavens above! I thought I was all by my lonesome out here. Didn't mean to startle you. Do you make home out here alone?"
