The plane touched down at Narita Airport, and as the doors opened, The Phantoms stepped out into a sea of screaming fans, flashing cameras, and signs waving high—“Welcome, Phantoms!!” and “Sayonara Moon Town forever!”

Chikara squinted through the crowd, excitement and nerves swirling inside her chest. Koga smirked, cool but secretly loving the hype, Ryuki bounced on his toes, and Sakura was already live-streaming the moment with a huge smile.

“Chikara, you’re amazing!!” a fan shouted. “Sayonara Moon Town changed my life!!” another yelled.

The Phantoms laughed, waved, and slipped through the crowd toward their waiting van, the city buzzing around them like electricity.

Meanwhile, miles away in a sleek Tokyo café, Kise slammed his phone on the table, hyped. “Guys! The Summer Lights Festival is happening tonight! And The Phantoms are playing! You HAVE to come with me!”

Aomine shrugged, sipping his drink. “Why do we even care about some band? We play basketball, not music.” Midorima checked his phone, mumbling about odds. Murasakibara munched on a snack, uninterested. Akashi leaned forward, calm but intrigued. “I want to see their performance. It’s… strategic.” Kuroko quietly added, “I’ve heard their song before. It’s beautiful.”

Kise grinned, “See? Even Kuroko’s on board. Let’s go watch and see what all the hype is about!”

Five hours before their set, the festival grounds were a chaotic mix of soundchecks, crew rushing, and flickering stage lights. The Phantoms huddled near the stage. Chikara paced with a notebook in hand, overwhelmed by the energy but needing air.

“Guys, I’m gonna take a quick walk to clear my head,” she said.

“Don’t be gone long! We need you sharp,” Sakura warned. “And don’t get lost,” Ryuki teased.

Chikara slipped away, heading toward the quieter edge of the festival site.

As she strolled near the side of the stage, soaking in the buzz, she suddenly almost bumped into someone.

Looking up, she locked eyes with a quiet figure—Kuroko Tetsuya.

For a split second, Kuroko froze, blinking like he couldn’t believe what he was seeing.

No way… She’s real. Chikara, the captain of The Phantoms, my favorite band… She’s even more stunning up close.

Chikara raised an eyebrow at the sudden pause.

    “Uh, sorry! Didn’t mean to—”

Kuroko snapped out of it, cheeks slightly flushed but voice calm, “N-no, it’s okay. I… I didn’t expect to see you here.”

Chikara grinned, catching the vibe. “You’re Kuroko, right? From the basketball team?”

He nodded, still a little starstruck. “And you… you’re incredible. Your music—it’s amazing. It means a lot to me.”

“That means the world, seriously,” Chikara said softly.

Just then, Ryuki rushed up. “Chikara! Soundcheck starts in 10. Time to head back!”

Waving to Kuroko with a spark in her eyes, she said, “Catch you later, Kuroko.”

Kuroko watched her walk away, a quiet smile lingering on his lips. I have to see them perform… again.

The lights dimmed and the crowd roared as The Phantoms stepped onstage—Chikara grabbed the mic, Koga shredded on guitar, Ryuki pounded the drums, and Sakura hit the keys.

The first notes of “Sayonara Moon Town” echoed through the festival. The crowd swayed, mesmerized by the band’s energy and vibe.

Kise and the Generation of Miracles stood at the back, eyes wide, absorbing the music. Kise whispered, “This is fire. Why didn’t we come to this sooner?”

    Aomine nodded, grudgingly impressed.

Kuroko’s eyes were locked on Chikara, the music clearly hitting something deep inside.

The song ended and the crowd exploded in cheers.
