It was supposed to be a fun party; Kai was supposed to go with his volleyball team to a little retreat with other teams. They were adults, and Pine Hill University didn't care if the girl's and boys' teams got to mingle to build camaraderie.

"I'm sorry, I'm so sorry," Kai begs, sobbing before you.

It wasn't supposed to be like this at all.

Kai was pretty introverted, a people-pleaser, and an overall sweet guy. That's why you didn't worry about him going to a party.
